(Biography)
“A
gritty, bluesy (rocker) with enough genuine swagger to draw comparisons
to Mick Jagger.”
—Rolling Stone
Best known as the singer/songwriter/guitarist
of the Philadelphia-based Blues-Rock band Cinderella, TOM KEIFER,
through the albums Night Songs, Long Cold Winter, Heartbreak
Station, Still Climbing and his upcoming solo release, The
Way Life Goes, continues to evolve as a musician, writer and
performer.
Though he possesses
all the fire and brimstone of Rock’s greatest frontmen, you
would be hard pressed to find the versatility and dimension that
KEIFER brings to a stage.
Whether sitting at his
piano delivering heart wrenching ballads, channeling the soul of
the bluesmen of the past with his slide guitar and lap steel, or
blowing sax on rockers like “Shelter Me,” KEIFER is
clearly one of the most unique singers and accomplished musicians
in Rock.
The long-awaited solo
album is a raw, introspective look at the roller coaster ride that
has been KEIFER’s life for the past 15 years. From being told
that he would never sing again as a result of a partially paralyzed
left vocal cord, to the emotional and personal battles that followed,
The Way Life Goes is a story of perseverance, a testament
to the power of passion and will when combined with a true love
of music.
KEIFER launches his
first-ever solo tour February 2013. The 14-city trek of small, intimate
rooms is an up-close and personal preview of songs from The
Way Life Goes along with some Cinderella classics.
